How Cleophas Rebuilt His Life After Depression and Homelessness

Cleophas was once a hardworking businessman in Nairobi, committed to building a better future through dedication and perseverance. Like many others, he had dreams, goals, and a clear sense of purpose.

Over time, however, depression quietly began to take its toll. What started as an internal struggle gradually affected every part of his life. He lost his peace of mind, his livelihood, and eventually the stability he had worked so hard to build.

Without the support he needed, Cleophas found himself living on the streets.

Three months ago, the Face of Streetkids Society outreach team met Cleophas and welcomed him into a journey of healing and restoration. Through counseling, compassionate care, and ongoing support, he began rebuilding both his confidence and his future.

Today, Cleophas is smiling again. He is thinking clearly, embracing the recovery process, and taking meaningful steps toward returning to the community with renewed hope and purpose.
