Gregory’s Rescue Brought Him Back Home to His Parents
Gregory’s Rescue Brought Him Back Home to His Parents
Gregory was alone, injured, and in desperate need of help.
After being beaten and robbed, he was left on the streets with a severely injured hand and intense pain in his waist. He needed medical attention urgently, but in that moment, he had no one to turn to.
Then a message reached Face of the Street Kids Foundation.
We did not wait.
Gregory was rescued and taken to hospital, where he received the medical care he so urgently needed. For someone who had been left suffering and alone, getting him to safety was the first step towards recovery.
But Gregory’s story did not end at the hospital.
Today, he is no longer suffering on the streets. He has safely returned home to his parents in Meru, surrounded once again by the people who love him.
What began with a desperate message ended with a rescue, medical care, and a family reunion.
Gregory now has the chance to heal properly, recover from what he went through, and begin a new chapter in the safety of home.
Stories like Gregory’s remind us why reaching out matters. Sometimes, one message can be the connection between someone suffering alone and the help they desperately need.
Every rescue, hospital visit, and family reunion is made possible by people who choose to care.
There are still others waiting for that same call for help.
Together, we can make sure they are not left waiting.
