Congratulations Jeremy: A Journey of Hope and Determination

We are thrilled to announce that Jeremy has finally sat for his KCPE exams. Congratulations, Jeremy! You’ve made it, and we are incredibly proud of you.

Jeremy, a 19-year-old from Vihiga, has been raised by his mother for most of his life. In 2017, we met Jeremy on the streets of Nairobi during one of our street feeding and mentoring programs. Despite the challenges he faced, Jeremy stood out as one of the street children who was determined to go back home. By God’s grace, we were able to reunite him with his mother in Vihiga, and with further support, he was enrolled in Shibanga Primary School in Class 6.

Jeremy’s journey hasn’t been easy. Though he was set to sit for his exams in 2019, circumstances held him back. However, our team continued to support him, ensuring he stayed in school and stayed focused on his education. Today, we are overjoyed to see him complete his primary school studies and look forward to his next step: secondary education.
