From Multimillion Business to the Streets: King David’s Story

From Multimillion Business to the Streets: King David’s Story
At one point, King David owned a multimillion-shilling phone accessories business on Luthuli Avenue. He employed 10 workers and had built a business that supported not only himself, but also the people who worked for him.
Then life took a difficult turn.
Family struggles and depression followed, and over time, David lost the business he had worked to build. The life he once knew slipped away, and eventually, he found himself living on the streets.
But while much had changed, one thing had not been forgotten.
His former employees remembered him.
They were the ones who contacted Face of Streetkids Society and asked us to help rescue their former boss. Their call brought attention to a man whose circumstances had changed dramatically, but whose life still mattered.
Today, King David has been rescued.
His immediate need is rehabilitation and support to begin addressing what he has been through. Getting him off the streets is an important first step, but he needs continued care to start rebuilding his life.
We are asking for your help to make rehabilitation possible for David.
